New York Autofest II Heads, Tails, and Hood Ornaments Belmont Raceway
When I looked at these works of art at the New York Autofest, Belmont Raceway, May 22, 2011, I realized how much automobiles have lost, design & style versus fuel economy and price.
We will never see hood ornaments like these again.
you're absolutely right, car design has become very boring and ordinary. it's impossible to tell one car from another these days. great photos! i love to paint 50's cars.

They remind me of going to the Drive In movies.
