Catch Up for the Holidays

It was restored and driven by Tony Guarnaschelli.
We all dressed up as reindeer and boarded the truck with fur coats and jingle bells,
joining volunteer fire departments from all over Long Island and their amazingly decorated fire trucks.
A wonderful evening was had by all.
Next is a picture taken last week of two bloggers meeting in person!
Lori from this blog, and Karen from Karen's Garden Cottage in Cape Cod, MA.
We met in The Community Thrift Shop, Huntington Village, where I volunteer a few days of the week.  I saw Karen's blog by hitting "next blog" at the top of my blog and started following it.  Then I realized that she knew a friend of mine from Huntington.  We e-mailed a lot, and then finally met face to face. Wouldn't it be great, we thought, to have a bloggers conference or event in NYC.  Maybe some day.
