Jarvis House Roses June, 2011

The completely fail safe Knockout Rose.  Needs only deadheading of spent blooms to keep on going all summer.  Pruning this plant also encourages it to really bush out and perform.
Another of the newer carefree varieties.
This is a yellow climber that is attached to my Dad's old tomato hoops.
I try to remember to go out each day that it blooms to take in the aroma.

This is a very tall pink that was rescued from another garden.

The three year old Knock out rose bush which I rescued at the end of a season and revived with pruning.

This is a very tiny rose that someone gave me as a gift in a strange little ceramic pot.  I decided to experiment and see if it would survive outdoors.  It is about four years old now, and grows under my split leaf red maple.
This is a volunteer wild rose that must have come with another garden center plant.
Some of the same roses in different, less sunny locations are still buds.
This rose came with my house.  I moved it to the split rail fence and tie it down in arches to encourage more flowers.
My Dad's tomato hoops with roses.
I don't know much about roses, and I do not spray them.  It is worth trying a few out that are easy care.  They are lovely especially in the hot months of summer.
